Can you share with us a little about the materials you create with?
Maker Amanda:
The aluminum and stainless steel necklace chains are very allergy-friendly which is super important to me as I react to a lot of different metals. Aluminum gives the appearance of silver without the polishing that silver requires and without the big price tag! Also, most of the aluminum on earth is found right here in Canada! So it is a material that mostly originates here and is extremely recyclable. Aluminum itself is 90% recyclable so great for the environment too. When I started making jewelry, I wanted to make something affordable but beautiful, pieces that you could wear every single day.
